How to find a game
- Check the live lists: most rooms publish games and waitlists on Bravo Poker Live, and at some rooms you can join the list from the app.
- Call the room: the floor will tell you what's running and how long the list is.
- Ask players: see what others report on PokerWar Live Games, and post what you see.
- Best times: evenings and weekends are busiest. Summer, during the WSOP, is the busiest season of all.
Tournaments and big series
The World Series of Poker takes over Las Vegas every summer. In 2026 it ran at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas from late May to mid-July. Several rooms run their own series at the same time, like the Venetian DeepStack, the Wynn Summer Classic and the Aria Poker Classic. Daily tournaments run year-round: check each room's schedule on PokerAtlas.
Tips for your trip
- Comps: most rooms pay hourly comps for cash play. Ask how they work when you sign up for a player's card.
- Tipping: it's customary to tip the dealer when you win a pot, and to tip cocktail servers.
- Bring ID: you must be 21 to play, and rooms check.
- Getting around: many Strip rooms are walkable from each other. For off-Strip rooms like South Point or Red Rock, use a taxi or rideshare.
- Etiquette: new to live poker? Read our guide to playing in a live poker room.
